Volunteering at Kfar Tikva is an enriching experience for our members and volunteers alike. It is a great way to give back to the community, make friends, and learn about our innovative programs.
Volunteers come to Kfar Tikva from near and far, and for varying lengths of time. Some of our volunteers act as adoptive families that keep in touch with several of our members; while others volunteer their time to teach classes, play sports, or assist with transportation and other tasks.
There have been young German volunteers working in Kfar Tikva since its founding in 1964, when youth groups came from Germany to build our first homes. This tradidtion continues today, as we host groups of young German volunteers for 10 months to a year.
