What an amazing event! DOGCHILD at the Mill at Kibbutz Sha’ar Ha’Amakim
DOGCHILD is a group of performance physical artists visiting from Berlin for a brief residency at the Mill (www.kamaflourmill.com). We are thrilled to have commissioned them to produce a site specific show and workshop created specifically for the Mill and Kfar Tikva. Twenty Kfar Tikva residents and more than fifty friends and neighbors from Kiryat Tivon and environs, participated in an exceptional evening of experiential physical arts and interactive theater led by Shai, Liz, Pablo and Ash – the members of DOGCHILD.
Participants were guided through different spaces throughout the 5 storey Mill building and experienced a variety of sensations and engaged with the facilitating artists and each other. The artists were delighted from the positive energy!
Kfar Tikva residents engaged DOGCHILD members in discussions about their work, their personal histories and how their troupe came to be.
All enjoyed a light buffet and had the opportunity to mingle with their friends and neighbors.
The workshops and performance were produced by the Cultural Arts Incubator of Kfar Tikva and made possible by the support of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany. Thankyou for a meaningful collaboration supporting the cultural arts and artists from Germany
