International Good Deeds Day, the international day of volunteering was celebrated at Kfar TIkva by a joint activity with

the international drug company Novo Nordisk. 

Twenty employees of Novo Nordisk shared breakfast and a carpentry workshop with  Kfar Tikva residents plus a few staff members.  Small teams of 3-4 individuals (Novo Nordisk employees paired up with Kfar Tikva residents) worked together – with power tools – to build 10 wooden benches and 5 tables.  Despite the cold rainy day outside, the atmosphere in the workshop was warm and friendly as both friendships and furniture were built.  This collaborative effort was spearheaded by Novo Nordisk.  Thank you for choosing to volunteer and invest in the relationship with Kfar Tikva.
