The date of Tu B’av the 15th day of the Month of Av on the Jewish Calendar is the traditional day of love and affection for those close to you. On this day a small group of staff and family gathered to remember and memorialize Mira Yaari (of blessed memory) and inaugurate “Mira’s Place” a garden and contemplation space dedicated to her memory. Mira was a long term staff member and most recently the Director of the ElderCare Program. Mira was dedicated and committed to the wellbeing of the older and most infirm residents of Kfar Tikva and worked tirelessly to assure that each and every resident had a good quality of life and a peaceful existence in their final years. May her memory be with us always.
