Windows of Hope in the Village of Hope is a creative project initiated in the first days of the COVID-19 pandemic active from March – May 2020
The project was created in-house, by a group of staff members and members of the therapeutic team looking for ways to provide Kfar Tikva residents with extra support and attention (while observing the Ministry of Health guidelines) during these stressful times. Here’s how it worked: On a daily basis; the staff member would gather outside of the resident’s window, or on their porches or perhaps on a grassy area and spend time together doing a creative activity. Together they sang, played instruments, read or told stories, drew pictures or painted or just spent some time together talking and listening. This was a quiet moment to recharge, relax and reconnect for both the residents and the staff.
