Kfar Tikva residents joined with members of the P.Z. Brewya organization for the “Race to the Statue” on June 19, 2020.

The PZ Brewya group is a “Sports, Beer and Good Deeds Club” made up of community activist volunteers who come regularly to Kfar Tikva and participate in social events and other activities with the residents.

Thirty Kfar Tikva residents divided up into groups based on ability and jogged, ran or walked from the village to the statue of Alexander Zaid.  The route included a steep uphill and was definitely challenging.

After the race, medallions were distributed to the participants with special acknowledgment going to Gili who ran with without stopping! The atmosphere was happy and energetic and we thank the organizers and all the participants.
